Eckert Veterinary Hospital provides all of the veterinary care for Woodford Humane Society’s animals, from spays and neuters to stuffy noses and beyond! Dr. Casey Eckert has been practicing in Central Kentucky since 2012, both with regular clients and in shelter medicine. She came home to Versailles to open her own clinic in December of 2020 and has been taking great care of our pets from day one. Dr. Eckert and the hardworking crew at Eckert Veterinary Hospital are dedicated to making every pet’s time at Woodford Humane as happy and healthy as possible.
Quantrell Auto Group has been a major supporter of Woodford Humane Society for more than a decade, and their partnership in the Adoption Drive has made an especially big impact! Quantrell has sponsored more than a thousand pet adoptions around the holidays since the Adoption Drive began in 2012, not only changing the lives of those pets and their families but also making it possible for Woodford Humane to provide relief to several overburdened Kentucky shelters.
One of our partners on the radio, Kiss 96.9 supports Woodford Humane all year long! Their advertisements and on-air chat help get the word out about our annual lineup of events and programs, including our furry and fabulous Pets of the Week. Reaching the broader community makes a real difference for the animals in our care, and Kiss 96.9 helps make that happen!
Another partner on the radio, Classic Rock 92.1 supports Woodford Humane all year long! Those rockers may seem tough, but they sure have a big heart for animals. In addition to advertisements and on-air chat sharing our events, programs, and adoptable pets, Classic Rock 92.1 cohosts sponsored adoption events throughout the year to help our pets find their people.
Every card or letter you receive from Woodford Humane Society is possible thanks to Timprint! In addition to providing discounted goods and services for our everyday projects, Timprint also supports Woodford Humane by donating the printing of our biggest project of the year, our Summer Gala event program. We are proud to work with a locally-owned small business like Timprint and so grateful for their generosity.
Through the Hill’s Food, Shelter, Love Program, Hill’s Science Diet provides the pet food we need at a fraction of the cost. In addition to keeping the bellies of 1,000 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens full each year, Hill’s provides starter bags of food to send home with each adoption. This gives adopters a jump-start on their new-pet shopping list, and gives the adoptee a little consistency as they make the big change to their forever home.
